Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about the work I do in our local area

What are your priorities for Heene?

My priorities for Heene are:

  • Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour
  • Fighting for lower Council Tax
  • Delivering clean streets

I’m always working hard for the residents of Heene. If you need any help, or just want a chat, please contact me!

Potholes! Why aren’t you fixing them?

Unfortunately, responsibility for the roads falls to West Sussex County Council. Believe me, I hate potholes as much as you do!

If you know of a pothole or notice one potentially developing, please contact me, and I will pass the information on to the relevant departments.

Whats your opinion on Worthing Pier?

Worthing Pier is a matter close to my heart. As a true icon of our area, I am devastated that the pier has fallen into such disrepair.

I am closely monitoring developments, both on the ground and through updates from our councillors, holding them accountable for their decisions and obligations. I hope to see Worthing Pier open again soon.

Where can I get cost of living support?

Find out what support is available to help with the cost of living. This includes income and disability benefits, bills and allowances, childcare, housing and travel.

Don’t forget Thursday (tomorrow) is Polling Day!Advice for when you arrive:1. You don’t need to talk to any party ā€˜tellers’ (party reps with rosettes on who might ask for your polling number). This is your choice!2. Walk inside and provide your ID to the staff, they’ll then confirm your details and give you a ballot paper!3. Put a āœ–ļø where it says ā€œReform UKā€ šŸ˜‰!4. Pop it into a ballot box; you’ve done your bit!IMPORTANT: Check your polling card to see where you can vote, or check online! It will all depend on your polling number (electoral register number). For Heene Ward, your polling station is: Heene Community Centre, 122 Heene Road, Worthing,BN11 4PLFor Worthing Pier Division, your polling stations are: Richmond Room (adj. to Assembly Hall), Stoke Abbott Road,Worthing, BN11 1HQHeene Community Centre, 122 Heene Road, Worthing,BN11 4PL See MoreSee Less
